So, my brother and I went to the orthodontist the other day and once we had finished we went to lunch. There happened to be a pretty good Chinese place right across the street so we went there. As is traditional for chinese restaurants, we both received fortune cookies. Mine read:
“From now on your kindness will lead you to success”
I really hope so! I try my best to be as kind as i can be to everyone and anybody. Sometimes i keep some comments to myself because i realize that they aren’t kind, nor are they necessary. I don’t know, i just feel like it doesn’t hurt to be nice. Plus, maybe, by being nice or just by smiling, i can brighten up someone’s day. You never know what someone has gone through on any given day. So i propose this to whoever is reading this: go out of your way one time per day to be nice to one person. Not only can you brighten up someone’s day, but you will feel good that you may have made someone’s day just that much better. Kindness is the root of all happiness. :)
